Yi-Ming Ma
Yi is a Policy Officer within the Environmental Water team at the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning. In his role, Yi has worked on projects regarding groundwater dependent ecosystems, using remote sensing and spatial data to determine potential drought refuge locations, climate change strategy and water recovery.
A Bachelor’s of Commerce/Science graduate, Yi is interested in the intersect between economics and science and how to better engage contrasting audiences. Yi is excited to explore innovative methods of presenting data and the opportunities for customisation it offers.
An avid hiker, Yi is looking forward to hearing about the different presentations at the ASM…and maybe pick up a holiday destination or two.
